About Us
We are the
students of Molly Ockett Middle School. We are a school of about 370
students divided into sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. We come from
the surrounding towns of Fryeburg, Denmark, Brownfield, Stow, Stoneham,
Lovell, Sweden, Albany, and Chatham, NH. Right now, we are mostly
eighth graders but are incorporating sixth and seventh graders. We are also
working with Miss Rogers's fifth grade class from New Suncook
Elementary, in Lovell. Each of our towns has a major lake in it, each with an
unique story. Since we are located in Fryeburg,
our lake is Kezar Lake.

Our Lake
Our lake is Kezar Lake in Lovell, Maine. Kezar Lake is nine miles long
running north to south. It is located east of the White Mountains and
on its other edge is Maine's forests. The deepest part of the lake that
has been measured is about 155 feet! At one time it is believed that
Kezar was two lakes. Kezar Lake's most famous resident is horror author
Stephen King. There is approxiatmately 220 properties around the lake.
