Litchfield School
Our school is Carrie Ricker Middle School which is located on Route 197
in Litchfield, Maine. We have 278 kids in our school. We have a fairly
new school, built in 1997. We have grades 3 - 8 in our building. Some
of our extra curricular activities are basketball, soccer, ski club,
cheering, cross country, softball, and baseball. Our days start at
7:30am and end at 2:05pm. Mrs. Morris's 7th grade Geography class is
working on Pleasant Pond. We are working on Pleasant Pond because it
has a great deal of milfoil in it. This is important because there are
7 other lakes that are part of Litchfield. We are learning about
cleaning our boat propellers and trailers so we don't bring milfoil to
other lakes.
